Probably one of the best dentist offices I’ve been too! Answered all of my questions, was hardly a wait to get called back, and helped me out with my insurance concerns. Also they offer you head phones and your choice of music for while they’re doing dental work- and that was pretty amazing!

They are always professional and courteous. The staff is very enjoyable and always smiling. Great service. I can’t forget Hillary, she is always helpful and patience with me even after the second time trying to set my denture molds. Her and the Doc Vu have great bedside manners. Dr. Vu and her dental team are the kind of health care professionals you’d wish also doubled as your Gynae, your therapist, and your PCP. That way you’d know you’re getting authentic care all around. Dr. Vu’s bedside, or I guess, ‘chairside’ manner alone is through the roof! I was a first time patient and now, hopefully, all time dental patient.

Dr. Vu is a breath of fresh air in the oral hygiene playing field in that she’s personable, full of energy and a delight. Dr. Vu maintains a positive manner that serves to alleviate one’s dental phobia. Her kindness is a distraction to the agony of dental work. And she has an amazing sense of humor! Dr. Vu’s staff is of equal quality caliber, and nary an individual would have anything negative to say about the Good Doc and her team. (And she will not judge you TOO terribly about your non-flossing…)

Hello Friends!! Dentist appointment!!! Giving a speech in front of strangers!! Fear of spiders!! The above are 3 of the top 10 phobias. After my appointment yesterday (06/19) I can cross the first one off the list. This office is located in the Duke Energy Building (400 S. Tryon). Bottom floor. Nice receptionist, They do anesthesia (3 types). I selected the 2nd option which was “the pills”. I had 2 extractions for wisdom teeth. The whole process took less than 30mins. I’m very very very happy with the process. Now I can keep my Kool-Aid smile nice and sparkly.

Dr. Vu and her staff was extremely professional, courteous, efficient & even provide a 7-day teeth whitening set for new patients. Such a nice touch. Dr. Vu came in and explained everything very clearly about my X-rays & course of treatment. There’s actually a tv monitor where me, as the patient, could see everything as well. Outstanding service. So glad I FINALLY found a forever dentist.

Dr. Athena Vu was raised in New Orleans, LA. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Vu received her dental training from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where she received her DDS. Upon completion of her dental degree, Dr. Vu continued her specialty post-graduate studies in Prosthodontics also at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. While in her specialist program at LSU, she took both the written and practical exams to receive her certification as a C.D.T. After 3 extra years of training in aesthetic management of crown and veneer, full-mouth reconstruction, removable/complete denture and implant reconstruction, Dr. Vu received her certification in Prosthodontics. As a Prosthodontist, Dr. Vu can revitalize your smile with dental implants & restorations. She is also trained with the latest technology in Invisalign – the invisible way to straighten teeth without braces. Dr. Vu has built her reputation on providing personalized family care while incorporating the latest advances technology in dentistry. Dr. Vu and her husband reside in Charlotte and they are very excited about the growth of Charlotte, especially the downtown area.
