I just had the most gracious consultation with orthodontist-Doctor Chelian, of Urban Orthodontics in Union City, New Jersey. The staff it attentive and at the ready!  Ok so recently I had been diagnosed with mild sleep apnea. It was suggested that I look into a sleep apnea MAD (mandibular adjustment device); basically a mouth guard that would move my lower mandibular & tongue forward. Now prior to my consultation with Doc Chilean I had been rather anxious as I had intensely researched my options. Research that had my head spinning; however, my consultation with Doctor Chelian eased my mind as it proved to be enlightening. After listening intently to my trajectory -what lead me to seek his advise- Doc C proceeded to examine my mouth/teeth. Then to explain what an MAD is, and what it is supposed to accomplish. He expounded upon what the pros and potential cons might be, especially since I already wear retainers from braces I had years prior. He listened carefully, and spent an inordinate amount of time with me. As a result I was able to make an informed decision because of his care and attention to detail. My son was recommended by a friend. Had his invisiline work done here and we are both very satisfied with the work. The doctor and staff are very pleasant. As far as payments, or etc, they are always willing to work with you. The doctor and staff are very thorough as far as explaining every detail to you. Perfectionist! I recommended my sister to come here as well. Trust me. We were all very happy. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Friendly, courteous, professional service at its best is what my son received and what you can expect at Urban Orthodontics. I give 5+ stars. There is none better. Dr. Chelian not only diagnosed quickly, but also discussed various options and put us in the path of solving the dental issues my son faced in an efficient, cost effective manner. I would have been in total darkness as to how to approach the condition my son is facing. I Thank you Dr. Chelian and your entire team for taking great care of my son. I’ll be calling you when my family or friends need your expert services.

Due to the COVID pandemic, I had to wait a couple of months to have a procedure done in order for my teeth too be properly. I am happy to report I was able to get it done today. I can’t say enough about this staff. I come really far to the office but it’s very worth it. Professional, clean and very welcoming. I’m happy I was able to get squeezed in.

I had the opportunity to meet one of the owners or Urban Orthodontics and was extremely pleased with her and her team.  If you are looking to get your smile fixed but been dreading to go you should check out this place because they will change your view and experience when it comes to dealing with orthodontics. The staff deff makes you feel like you are a friend! Which deff takes a lot of the stress away. The office is very very clean? Very well lit, has a nice modern sleek vibe going. They play good music, they’ll serve you a nice cup of some delicious hot chocolate if you would like annnd it smells clean!! Go check them out, go in and ask them all the questions you want, they will deff give you their best. This is deff the place I’ll be going to to get my smile fixed.

Today after many years finally made decision to correct my crooked bottom teeth. Urban Orthodontics, made me feel comfortable during the whole process. From Courteous-receptionist to X-ray tech also intake young lady consultant, last but definitely not least most pleasant and informative Dr Chelian. The office is pleasant clean and awesome music Thank you Yvonne.

Dr. Chelian and his Urban Orthodontics team provide an outstanding service to their patients. UO is extremely welcoming, understanding, and sincerely want the best for their patients. Plus they’re using modern state of the art technology that helps one’s progress even more! I would absolutely recommend them (already have) to friends and family. Overall 10/10 experience!

My best friend of 12 years was an employee at Urban Orthodontics before a big promotion in her field. It was a really exciting time! She was transitioning and I was finally ready to try braces again. Since I can remember, and especially when the office transitioned into new leadership by Dr. Chelian, I always wanted to begin and complete my orthodontic treatment with this office. I am so glad I waited! The team is the kindest, most professional and thoughtful team I have ever seen working in any medical office. It makes me so sad that I only see them once a month, but because my orthodontic treatment requires almost 3 years, I am so excited to continue all the way through.
