I gave five stars just because I can’t give 6. My best dental experience ever. Dr. Abhilasha Bal is so professionally patient, attentive, gentle. She always listens carefully, always makes sure that I clearly understand everything that we are going to do. I like that I can trust my doctor and her advice. In this practice, I felt that doctor really treats a person and not just one of her patients. It’s significant for me. The other staffs at Valencia Dental Center are fantastic as well (receptionist Susan especially makes you feel welcomed and comfortable with questions). I definitely will recommend Dr. Abhilasha Bal, all my friends.

Valencia Dental is great – their new renovation means it’s comfortable (and socially-distant!) in the waiting room. The receptionist and Daniel gave me a warm welcome and ran through the x-rays efficiently and clearly. Dr. Abhilasha is thorough, direct and has a great bedside manner – she made some detailed observations about my teeth that I really appreciated, gave me some options, and I’m waiting to hear back about some fillings and next steps. 🙂 Great experience!

First time at Valencia. Came here for an exam and found out they have a promotion going on. Discounted teeth whitening with my exam!!! I love running into hidden deals like this Dr. Uribe was great, very gentle and he made me feel like I had known him for years. Also the front desk staff was wonderful, she was very friendly and polite. See you soon. Thank you, Dr. Uribe and Susie for making it a wonderful experience!

First at all I hate going to my dental check up, but I have to tell you, somebody recommended  me this place and I have change my way of thinking about dentist. Number one they treat you  like a person and they go through out all your dental history, which make me think they are worry about my full dental health and no worried about to make the quick buck. Second they personal are very friendly and they care about your fears and third, I got a full front veneers and let me tell you, they look great. I feel now more confident about myself and my smile look great it’s hat so that I get more attention anywhere I go lol. Anyways fully recomended.

Dr. Abhilasha Bal is a fantastic dentist, and the staff is excellent. The office is neat, clean, and very calming. The assistants are always very polite and take care to ensure I’m comfortable. Every time I’ve been there, Dr. Bal takes the time to explain everything in detail, and she gives a lot of thoughtful guidance. The procedures are always performed with care, attention, and thoroughness. Dr. Bal is the best dentist I’ve had, and I’m thankful I’ve found her and Valencia Dental.

I had Invisalign treatment today – Dr. Bal was great and so was Daniel the assistant- Dr. Bal explained the procedure carefully & told me what to expect- The office is great & staff very friendly. Great location & I was able to get street parking- I highly recommend Valencia Dental Center.

I was looking for a new dentist since my old dentist stopped accepting my insurance. On top of that, I have also been interested in getting Invisalign for a while now and Valencia Dental Center offered this service. I was able to book an appointment through ZocDoc just a few days in advance, which is great. Normally for medical appointments I have to book weeks if not months in advance. I arrived a bit early at my appointment so that I could fill up the new patient forms. They were able to see me before my appointment time started, which was also pretty nice. The dental assistant (Daniel?) was friendly and we talked a bit about programming as he took my x-rays. After that Dr. Bal came in and looked at my x-rays and did a mouth exam. As expected, I was recommended to floss (does anyone floss in between dentist appointments…?). She also identified some build up of “calculus” on my lower teeth that was behind my lips and that I hadn’t even noticed, and provided some tips to improve my brushing technique. After that I had a cleaning done which was pretty straightforward and painless. Dr. B checked in regularly to make sure I wasn’t having any discomfort, especially as she removed the build-up. Everything else was in order (no cavities, yay!) and I was also able to see a before/after of the cleaning and it was an obvious visual improvement. Finally, the assistant came back to take impressions for the Invisalign treatment. Again, this was straightforward and unexciting (the excitement now is in waiting to see if my case qualifies… fingers crossed). I was in and out in about 45 minutes, which is pretty good! I’ll definitely be back here.

I usually don’t take the time to write a recommendation but Dr. Bal was great. I hadn’t been to the dentist in over a year and I have had bad experiences previously with other dentists, so I was apprehensive. However, dr. Bal made me feel completely comfortable and explained everything in detail. I will definitely be back!

I typically get nervous at dentist offices. My experience at Valencia dental was superb.  The new office renovations, cleanliness, and friendly staff made the experience great. The receptionist gave me a warm welcome, and Daniel made sure my teeth were sparkly clean. Dr. Abhilasha thoroughly checked pearly whites and made sure I was healthy. She was honest about potential future dental work, gave me options, and was not pushy about scheduling future work. My visit was painless and gentle. I left with a big smile. I had such an amazing experience at this dentist! Let my start by saying the staff is SO wonderful and pleasant. Dr. Abhilasha Bal is one of the best dentists I have EVER experienced. She really took the time to explain everything and I fully trusted her with my teeth. Such a sweet and caring dentist, which is so important!! So incredibly thorough! She is very knowledgeable and it is evident she is confident and knows what she is doing- in the best way possible! I felt comfortable the whole time and had no issues trusting her to make the best decisions with my teeth. I am moving away from SF soon, but I’m considering coming back up every 6 months to have her to my x-rays and cleanings! My previous dentist was a fancy boutique dentist by Union Square and I really did not feel that the staff and dentist were genuine and I did not feel that cared for. I was looking for a dentist with more of a personal touch and Valencia Dental Center is JUST that! The staff was very personable and totally understanding. I was able to make a new patient appointment and get fillings and chipped teeth fixed all within to weeks of each other. During COVID-19 times, I thought this was super impressive! I will be recommending all of my friends to this dentist.

I am surprised that anyone would leave nasty reviews during this crazy pandemic. Especially for something as minor as not getting a follow-up call after the appointment that you missed. The entitlement is stunning. Having said my piece and after reading the aforementioned nasty reviews I feel compelled to share my experience with this practice. I have been coming here for 3+ years, and have had positive experiences overall. The staff has always been friendly, professional, and easy to work with. They have always communicated with me before and after my appointments and the work I have had done has been excellent. I very much appreciate that all procedures are explained, different options have always been presented, and they are upfront about the costs. Speaking of costs, twice I mistakenly thought that my insurance would cover the full cost of my visit so I didn’t bring my wallet with me when I walked over for my appointment. They didn’t freak out or bar the door to prevent me from leaving without payment. They didn’t even guilt me, they just billed me. That is an example of the level of respect they extend to their patients. Obviously, I highly recommend them.

Best dentists and office ever. Truly everyone who works here is wonderful. I’ve been coming here for 3 years and have had a couple routine procedures. In the past I’ve had dentists or doctors where an office manager, nurse/hygenist or dentist/doctor is a stand out and everyone else is ok, but I love this team. I feel really welcome when I come in, I get good feedback and context on issues and solutions, and scheduling and billing are easy, especially with Suzie the manager who is amazing.

Loved seeing Dr. Bal again. Dr. Bal is very perceptive, and noticed immediately that I was missing part of a filling that I hadn’t even mentioned (I was in the office for a cleaning appointment). She is wonderful, calming and kind. The office is very clean, everyone working in the office was very careful about the Covid-19 protocols and I felt safe and cared for. I’m happy to return in six months!
