If you’re on Yelp looking for a dentist because you haven’t been in far too long and you’re looking for confirmation, this is it. I hadn’t been to the dentist in over 4 years and was extremely embarrassed and anxious about my first time back. I’m so glad I settled on Dr. Hovsepyan as she put me at ease right away. She never showed any sign of judgement and was patient and understanding. Following my visit with her, my insurance (MetLife), sent me a claim and said the office was out of network. I called the office and was sad to say I could no longer see them. The office manager (from the Van Nuys office) took my call and again, was incredibly sweet and assured me that despite being out of network I had no outstanding balance with them and anytime I was going to owe money, it would be discussed as an upfront cost. In the short time I’ve been seeing Dr. Hovsepyan, everyone in the office has been amazing. Despite being out of network, I am continuing to see the office as they work with you and in some ways this actually helped me. Glad to say I have found my new dentist after being scared for so long.

I am so grateful to have an experience with Dr. Hovsepyan and Dr. Bagdasaryan to resolve  my complicated dental issues. From my very first visit at the office I was made to feel comfortable by both friendly  staff and the pleasant environment of the office  itself. Both doctors inspire the utmost confidence by their wealth of knowledge,  professionalism, by  caring and loving attitude. THANK YOU  for making me happy by  doing absolutely painless procedures and for  being always available!

Had an amazing experience at Viva Smile. The staff is amazing. The office is clean and with the latest equipment. Words can not express how I feel about Dr. Hovsepyan. She was beyond patient, profesional and understanding. Anxiety is a normal feeling that most people feel when visiting a dentist, but Dr. Hovsepyan and her staff make it a point to make sure you are comfortable and discuss everything prior to beginning to minimize your anxiety. I don’t mind driving all the way from DTLA to go the best dentist! I found Dr. Hovsepyan thanks to a good friend of mine. After having some bad dental work done while I was in college my smile was in need of severe help. Dr. Hovsepyan was able to repair a crown followed by removing two implants that were poorly placed. I’m in the process of getting braces and finishing off with three new perfect implants. Couldn’t be happier with their service professionalism and how welcoming they made me feel. They take the time to explain everything in detail before having you agree to anything. The office is super clean and everyone has a friendly simile and appear to enjoy their job, something that is hard to find these days. Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. I highly recommend paying them a visit for all your dental needs.

My family has been getting our dental care from Dr. Hovsepyan for years. The office looks so nice, the staffs are nice and Dr. Hovsepyan is super nice. She is very explanatory when telling us what is going on with our teeth and gives detailed information when it requires procedures. Always caring and kind. We definitely recommend Dr. Hovsepyan to everybody who needs dental care!

The staff is wonderful! Very professional, friendly and caring. Dr. Gohar Hovsepyan knows exactly how to handle patients with sensitive teeth. She makes sure she does whatever it takes to make me comfortable and pain free. I am very happy with them.

I love this place!!! Waiting time is good, schedule appointments are quick and easy. Everything went smooth the  Dr. explains everything in detail, she was able to calm my anxiety and she is super friendly!!!!

Have been a patient of Dr. Hovsepyan for 3 years now and I’ve never been disappointed! From cleanings to extractions to even my full ortho treatment, Dr. Hovsepyan has delivered exceptional care and attention. Little by little my family has began to see her and they all rave about her. Her office staff is also wonderful and you are treated as a part of their family the minute you walk in. Of course there is a wide choice of good dentists in the L.A. area but what makes Dr. Hovsepyan different is her warm and sincere chair-side manner. She always has a smile and makes me feel welcomed and secure that I am getting the best care and that she really cares about my health. (I actually look forward to my regular dental visits!). The spirit of her high quality patient care is reflected not only in her clinical staff but in her front office staff, as well. I recommend Viva Smile to my friends and colleagues every chance I get. I can’t say enough about how great this place is. The staff is amazing and friendly. Dr. Hovsepyan is the best. She is not only professional, ethical and great at her job, but she genuinely cares about the work she does for her patients. She loves her job and it shows in the work that she provides for the patients. I live an hour away one way, but I do not mind making that drive because I know I will get great service and great work done. Nothing beats Viva Smile

We showed up early and got in early little to no wait time.the front desk staff was nice made small talk also offered water and coffee.my husband has really bad teeth there was making him feel bad they listen no judging good environment. This the place get your teeth done will be make own appointment soon .??

Happy with the friendliness of staff and cleanliness of the facility. No wait time upon arrival of appointment. Any or all fees and charges were discussed without the pressure of making money on getting any work done.

Dr. Gohar is very thorough when explaining the procedure and what to expect. As a patient, it makes me feel more comfortable knowing what is happening and how everything is done. She’s also very pleasant and I feel valued as a patient. I love her!!!

I trust my teeth in this place. I get my cleaning done here and regular check ups for my Invisalign. The staff here are always pleasant and friendly. Especially the girls in the front, really make the place run smoothly. Dr. Hovsepyan is always kind and upfront about her treatment plan. She always offers options and reassurance and takes special care and consideration to each step of the process. She is someone who I feel genuinely cares about the wellbeing of her patients

All the staff here are friendly and honest. They don’t recommend random procedures you don’t need, and will patiently explain the procedures you do need as well as the costs. Cannot recommend them enough.

Dr. Gohar and Dr. Karen are amazing, they have a very modern equipment, the office is beautiful and super clean And the ladies are so nice and kind. Love this place .

Dr. Gohar Hovsepyan is a great doctor!I have done a lot of dental work with her and every time I visit her could not be more happier. She is very knowledgeable, has many years of experience, moreover she is very friendly with all her patients. She uses the newest technologies  and very high quality products. I absolutely love this dentist! Everybody there is sweet, kind and really cares about you. I will recommend this dentist office to everyone I know. Even if you’re afraid of going to the dentist, you won’t be anymore after your first visit here. This place is heaven send.

I am 34 years old. At 9, I smashed my face on asphalt and have spent the last 25 years battling the damaged that was caused by the fall compounded with shotty work by several dentists throughout the years. It got so bad that I refused to go to the dentist for years, resulting in the need for implants and lots of crowns. My husband found Dr. Gohar and knew she was just what I needed. Just the thought of walking into a dentist would hive me such anxiety that I would cry and shake. Upon my first visit, 95% of that anxiety disappeared. The staff listened to my concerns and were patient with me. They are more than just a dental office. They are a professional family. Everytime I have come in, its more like talking with friends. Something I needed so much more than I ever knew. The dr is very straight forward about the treatments I need yet I have NEVER been pressured to do anything I wasn’t comfortable with or could not afford. She works hard to prevent doing unnecessary procedures. Something both myself and my wallet appreciate. For the first time in my life, ai look forward to going to the dentist. I am calm, no longer need to take anxiety medication before my visit and am so happy with how my new smile is developing. Viva Smile, Dr Gohar and her staff are absolutely amazing
