I come for a Dental cleaning and I had the most nice experience with hygienist Sancy, she was so careful on take my X Rays, her have a gentle hands, the cleaning was so pleasant , I felt so relax, the smooth songs, the nice conversation, and the explanation afterwards. I also was offered a tooth whitening after the cleaning done, and I left the office feeling great. What a nice place.

This was my first visit at Warshauer & Santamaria’s office. My dentist retired and this dental office was highly recommended by a family member. The office is beautiful, the staff is professional and welcoming. My dental hygienist was kind, knowledgeable. I then met one of the dentist who came in and introduced herself and talked about a treatment plan for the future. Excellent care at their office for sure. Barbara

I have been a patient of Dr. Warschauer (and, also now Dr. Santamaria) since 1989 and can say that I have never experienced a more professional and positive dental practice. I have had work done on my teeth from crowns to a dental implant and have never had an issue with any of the work. Sheer perfection. The team at this practice go above and beyond to ensure their patients receive the best care. Such wonderful people. My husband is also a patient and my son. Will never go anywhere else. Simply the best!

Can’t say enough good things about this dentist. Prior to moving to Boston and becoming a patient here, I had some orthodontic work done back home (from an orthodontist not affiliated with this practice) because I was congenitally missing my lateral teeth. The orthodontic treatment resulted in bone recession, and created “black triangles” in the spaces between my teeth along the gum line. As you can imagine, I became self-conscious about my smile. Finally, through a personal recommendation, I went to Dr. Santamaria to see what could be done. What I immediately enjoyed the most about Dr. Santamaria is her keen sense of aesthetics. She described for me what smile shape would look the most natural with my face and lips. As a fairly young person, how my teeth look is super important, so I trusted her instincts on what would look best. That first visit provided plenty of education regarding my treatment options, from simplest (doing nothing) to most comprehensive (getting implants). I chose the treatment plan that included bone grafts, implants, and a final restoration. I wanted to do this for myself because I wanted to feel confident about my smile. I moved forward with the treatment, Both the gum graft and the implant surgery couldn’t have gone any smoother, and I’m pleased to say that I’ve had a pretty near-perfect smile ever since. It is always a pleasure to visit the office, although I have to say that it feels more like a spa than a dental office. The ladies at the front desk are great, and the entire team takes the time to really get to know you on a more personal basis. P.S., I highly recommend having your cleanings done by Milena. She’s an amazing hygienist with a magic touch!

Back Bay Boston Dentist (Warshauer and Santamaria) have been my dentist for more than 20 years and they are simply fantastic. Here’s 10 reasons why you should use them: Reason 1 – They are extremely friendly, approachable and collaborative on treatments and services. Reason 2 – They explain everything they are going to do and why, and always answers all my questions so I understand exactly what’s happening. Reason 3 – Over the 20 years, I’ve needed cleanings, crowns, a couple of implants and an extraction…they do all this in house with expert knowledge and techniques. Reason 4 – They have a beautiful office right in the heart of Boston..so easy to get to and nice to experience. Reason 5 – Everyone on the staff including Kathleen, Kathy, Irays, Milena, Michelle, Donna, Cherilyn and all the rest are great at their jobs and fantastic to interact with. Reason 6 – They work hard with my insurance to make sure I’m taking full advantage of all my benefits including suggesting things I can wait on in the future when insurance would pay better for it. Reason 7 – I was up in a remote part of Maine 6 hours away on a holiday weekend when I crown failed…I called Dr. Santamaria and she came into the office to meet me to help get the situation stabilized. I have also had others meet me over the weekends for emergencies. They truly care about all their patients. Reason 8 – They have a very contemporary approach to reaching out to their patients including text and email scheduling and reminders, newsletters, etc. Reason 9 – They know when they don’t know. There have been times when they strategically recommended I get a second opinion regarding medical advice that could effect an upcoming procedure. Reason 10 – It’s a very comfortable environment while getting work done – Everyone room has satellite radio in which you can put on whatever program you want. You can also watch a show on Netflix with headphones or just chill out while they do their thing…

I’ve moved many times, so I have experienced many dentist offices all over the country. Warshauer & Santamaria is by far, the most welcoming, most elegant, and most beautiful office I have ever seen.  I get very nervous when I need to see a dentist, but from the moment I entered their office, I felt relaxed because they create almost a spa atmosphere.  The receptionists are friendly and they even researched my insurance for me so that I knew what coverage I could expect.  My experience became even better after having my teeth cleaned by Melina- an expert hygienist.  I’m incredibly sensitive and have often cried when having my teeth cleaned in the past. Melina went to great lengths to make sure that she did not cause me any pain, while not compromising the incredible cleaning she gave me!  She did such an amazing job, I now go to the dentist every couple of months just so Melina can clean my teeth!  It’s like having a spa treatment because my teeth have never looked so beautiful!  Dr. Santamaria then explained my gum problems and took the time to suggest some plans to help me with my dental health in the future.  THANK YOU SO MUCH! Warshauer & Sanatmaria is the best dental office with the best people I have ever experienced in my lifetime!

Dr. Santamaría is the best. I was scared about going to a new dentist but she has the best hand. They explain you everything, work out a plan for you, and calculate the cost before moving forward so you can clearly know what you’re signing up for. The space is spotless, the location is excellent, they have good COVID protection measured, and are friendly and efficient.

This was my first visit since the Covid-19 shutdown (have been going to this office for 5 years). The office was well set up for personal safety – from physical distancing, temperature and pulse oxygen checks, room air cleaners, staff well masked and gowned, regular cleaning of procedure rooms, availability of hand sanitizer, etc. I felt very safe and well taken care of for my dental cleaning and exam.

On an international travel coming from Europe to Boston one of my teeth broke. Dr. Santamaria and her team were extremely helpful, took care of me in a very flexible and forthcoming manner. It turned out that the tooth was quite badly broken and needed a root canal. A specialist spent two hours after closure of the practice to do this in a very skillful and calm way. Thank you very much again and I can only recommend the dentist.

I’m honestly shocked to read the previous negative reviews… I’ve been to a number of dentists in the past and feel that this is the best I’ve ever been to — by a long shot. The receptionist is usually busy but has never been impolite, and the hygenists and dentists are unbelievable — friendly, kind, and extremely thorough. They’ve actually discouraged me from spending unnecessary money on treatments that would likely not be worth my while, and have looked into my insurance policy to see what’s covered to try to save me money.  I really have nothing but praise for this office — I simply wish I found it sooner! I felt like my teeth had been neglected for years after visiting this office and experiencing the most thorough cleaning, x-rays, and treatment from the dentist I’ve ever received. I’ve referred this office to a number of coworkers and friends, and have heard glowing reviews from all of them. This place is a hidden gem, and my recommendation would be that if they do something that upsets you, tell them — they seem very open to feedback and I have always felt that they put their patients first. Try this place for yourself before writing it off!!!
