I was very pleased with my visit at Westlake Village Dental. Right when I walked through the door I was met by a warm and friendly receptionist. The office didn’t have that “dental office smell” because they have a diffuser with essential oils and the office is filled with relaxing music. In the front office every patient is able to check in through Yelp and they receive a free whitening kit. I was treated with professionalism and care and the Doctor and the rest of the staff made me feel that I was in safe hands. I asked the doctor about other cosmetic services and in addition to whitening, he also offers natural looking veneers. Dr. Choi has a quiet confidence and he really does care about his patients. He works very well next to his dental assistant, Veronica who is very welcoming and kind and makes sure you’re comfortable. Dr. Choi takes extra time to accurately diagnose any problems that need care. I then met the hygienist, Quynh, and had my teeth cleaned by her. She’s very nice, she gives you sunglasses so the light from the overhead light doesn’t blind you while she’s working on you. Also at the beginning of the appointment, she offers you lavender essential oils that she puts on your upper lip. I recommend it because I felt so much calmer during the appointment. She does a great job by asking you about any dental concerns or sensitivity at the moment, and if you’re ever uncomfortable during the appointment, she will accommodate for you.

We recently moved to the area from out of state, and my search for a new dentist brought me to Dr. Choi. He is awesome! He took the time to thoroughly explain options and processes for the very specialized (!!) dental work I need, and really listened to my concerns. Not only that, he was gentle (not stretching my mouth in every awkward direction), and pointed out several ways to repair my teeth in a way that would allow them their best health for years to come. He is clearly good at his job!! For so many people (including myself), the whole “going to the dentist” routine can be super daunting…but Dr. Choi (and his staff!) were so caring and kind. I’ve never said this about the dentist, but I can’t wait to go back.

The world would be a better place if every service-oriented business was run like Dr. Choi’s office.  Everyone that works there puts needs of the patients above all else.  They are incredibly friendly and exceedingly professional, and Dr. Choi’s expertise and kindness are unmatched.  You will truly be in good hands with Dr. Choi and his entire staff!

Dr. Choi and his staff are very profession, prompt and very nice. I went in for a repair on a chipped veneer on my front tooth hoping this would be something Dr. Choi would be good at. When I asked him he said he had taken extra training on repairing teeth which made me feel good. He is also a holistic dentist so I know all the materials he uses are as pure as possible. Excellent dentist.

This is by far the best dental office in SoCal. Everything from the Dental Hygienist to the fabulous Dr. Choi. I’ve been coming to this dentist for the past 9 years. I’ve tried a couple in between, no comparison. I drive 45 minutes for their exceptional service.

Dr. Choi has been our family dentist for at least 5 years now. I was looking for a family environment with a healthier alternative. We live in Simi and his office is not that far away. The children’s dentist group we use to go to always pushed unnecessary shots and exrays. Dr. Choi respects our way of living with a healthier alternative. We love the staff and dental hygienists as well. We would highly recommend Dr. Choi for the whole family.

Dr. Choi and his excellent staff go the extra mile to assure your wellness and comfort with a personal yet professional experience. He has a calming and compassionate energy and very knowledgeable about dentistry alternatives. His hygienist is exceptional and they provide a good overall oral health program.

I have been going to Dr. Choi since he took over the practice over 10 years ago. I am one of those who really don’t like going to the dentist. But now that is not the case at all. Dr. Choi is kind, gentle, thorough and does a great job of explaining things. The entire staff is excellent. And I love the lavender used as a standard practice….very relaxing and a nice touch. Appointments are always kept on time (no waiting) and reminders are sent out ahead. One of the things I appreciate is that they are able to navigate through my insurance and let me know what is covered at what rate, etc. which makes it very easy to do business with them!

Dr. M. Choi is one of those dentists who really care about his patients. His dental expertize combined with knowledge and skills enables him to restore some of the most challenging cases. I feel very lucky that I found such a great dentist. If any of you have a need for a veneer or a crown and not sure where to go, you can definitely trust that Dr. Choi will do a great job for you.

I recently switched from another well-established Dentist here in Westlake Village to Mike Choi and I could not be more happy! I needed two crowns which was done quickly, professionally, and at a fair price. The process was efficient and the staff, along with Dr. Choi, was an informative experience. A seriously friendly and experienced staff … second to none! And let me comment briefly about Quynh who cleaned my teeth and gums … WOW!!! Normally not a fun event but she is so proficient that I have a renewed dedication to caring for my not so perfect teeth. I cannot more strongly make a recommendation to give them a try.
