Very pleased with the new dental office found. Moved here from north Texas and luckily i have found an office that I am very pleased with. From the cleaning, to a root canal and crown all have gone extremely well. My partner is now also going to this office.

I want to point out the excellent service of the staff and Dr. Barton, I have always been treated and seen at last minute emergencies. My regular dental appointments are less than ten minutes from my appointment time. Doctor Barton takes the time to go over every detail concerning your visit and the staff is awesome, too.

I searched nearby my place for a reputed dental clinic and found Whispering Oaks Family Dental. After reading the reviews I booked an appointment Monday 28th September 2020. The overall experience was superb. Dr. Burton, dental assistant Loretta and dental hygienist Jesse (hope i got the names correct) all made me feel comfortable and so relaxed. My treatment was perfect, fast and efficient. I had a bit of pain in the evening which was normal based on my treatment. I love my new crown so much. I can’t wait for my next visit. I fully recommend the Whispering Oaks Family Dental. Thank you guys for your excellent service.

Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. They are at ease and you feel the same. My hygienist is quite gentle while doing a good job. I’m was so relaxed I almost went to sleep in the chair while getting my teeth cleaned. I will recommend Whispering Oaks to friends & family. Such a relief to go the dentist without the fear. Thanks.

Dr. Barton is a true professional and cares for each patient as family. The staff exemplifies what a dental office should be like. Friendly, efficient, and you’re made to feel like you’re special. Highly recommend Dr. Barton for routine dentistry, implants, orthodontics, and crowns.

As a follow up, today, June 29th, I returned for a follow cleaning. Hygienist continues to provide excellent service. Dentist is a very nice individual. Previous entry below: Everyone was friendly and provided excellent customer service. Hygienist was nice and new her stuff. She made me feel at ease and informed me of any observations. She is the right person to have at this location.

This was my first time seeing this Dentist and I was impressed. Even though I left with my terrible toothache that I went in for it was because Dr. Thomas Barton wanted to do Whatever he could to give me the treatment I really wanted. Since I was a new patient he was very through and explained the problems I had and together we brainstormed over the best way to give me back teeth instead of pulling more. He gave me the best plan for my budget and antibiotics and pain pills. This afternoon when I got home I was called by Roxanne and she explained to me what was next and the cost. Dr. Barton had spent a lot of time with me and I was good with his recommendations as to how we move forward. I had seen the same Dentist for many years and when he retired I went to the UT Dental school. So we were looking for someone closer to us. I am very happy with the choice of Dr. Thomas Barton and he couldn’t be closer. His staff is friendly and professional I am not looking forward to all the work that needs to be done but I have Sjogren’s so I am pleased with the treatment plan and the cost. Okay I thought that I had posted this and I guess I didn’t sorry about that. I have finished with the dentures on my lower teeth. I have a severe case of Sjogren’s and that keeps my mouth dry. It also makes regular dentures a very hard thing to wear. We had a bit of a hiccup with some of the hardware for my dentures but Dr. Barton was not detoured he got the teeth prepped an was able to get the teeth to hold the denture for awhile before the parts came in. They were so accommodating if I needed to come in and get them adjusted. I was hoping that we could just put implant dentures in but financially it was impossible. These are removable but Dr. Barton made them well enough to not be too rough on my gums. He is a no nonsense type of Dentist and I like that. He’s a very good Dentist and his Staff is unbelievable, they know their jobs well and treat you with friendliness as well as professionalism. He’s an A+ in my book.

I broke my tooth the previous weekend. I was able to secure an appointment early Monday morning. I hadn’t been to the dentist in 15+ years and his staff made me feel very comfortable. In addition, Dr Barton and his staff gave me a very thorough examination and gave me several options to fix my issues. I can’t say this enough, Dr Barton and his staff were AWESOME! While waiting between proceedures they fit me in for a good cleaning and other prevenative measures. Dr Barton finished up the proceedure, filling my broken tooth and some minor fixing on others. Dr Barton did not suggest needless work and the pricing is reasonable. I have already made appointments for my other family members and will highly recommend this office to others.

I have been going to this office for the better part of 10 years. When Whispering Oaks took over I was a little concerned because I had good experiences with the office that was there. I am glad I stuck around. The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable, I never worry about upcoming visits, and I never worry about some unexpected thing about to break my budget. I highly recommend this office.

Because of sudden tooth pain & me due to leave town in several days & without a local dentist I was concerned. I remembered a postcard style ad that came in the mail, found it, & called. They worked me in immediately without my having to beg or anything. It was a broken crown which between filling out forms & x-rays was determined in about a half hour. Their made in-house crowns were explained. New to me! I signed up & an hour or an hour 10 minutes later it was installed & I was on my way to In & Out for lunch. It took maybe 15 minutes to remove the old crown, measure & make the new one, & then cement the new one in. Amazing! The office was very nice, & the people there were friendly & efficient. This was the BEST dentist experience I have EVER had. Oh, It was also considerable less expensive than the last crown I had replaced. Another getting old issue is—old crowns wear out & from what I learned about how these are made they should last longer than the old timey ones. Now if only I would last longer. Lee

There is not one bad thing about this place, it’s absolutely amazing! After initial call to set an appointment, I was able to get seen the very next day – which is unheard of! Staff was all so very pleasant and helpful throughout the entire process. Everyone was warm and welcoming. Dentist did an amazing job! I felt No Pain during or after! I’ve been avoiding the dentist due to fear – This place definitely changed my outlook for sure. I’m not fearful any more. The office is also extremely clean. I will be going back as I have made the decision that this will now be my primary dentist.

I went in for my first cleaning of 2019 and I had a great experience. From check-in to my actual cleaning the staff were professional. Dr. Barton popped in for my oral exam and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. My dental hygienist did a great job as usual and the fact that he remembers his patients is a plus. I highly recommend this office they are true professionals and always provide excellent customer service!

I have been extremely pleased with the service and with Dr. Barton. He is professional, explains what your needs are and listens to your concerns. I have always had a slight fear of going to the dentist. However, that al changed because of the calming demeanor of Dr Barton. The front desk personnel are the best. They are so welcoming, friendly and professional. They make you feel valued and that they are glad to serve you. I would highly recommend them

This was the absolutely BEST dental experience I’ve ever had. They handled me with such care and I was in and out of there so quickly. They will be changing my life by helping me get a new smile, and I am so grateful! Thank you Dr. Barton and staff. I’m excited to be on this journey with you all.

Had a deep cleaning today> Was very skeptical about going due to Covid My fears were put to rest as I was greeted at my car & escorted inside. Temp was taken & then led back to hygienist. Everyone was gloved & masked, felt very comfortable. Experience despite fact I was in dentist office was actually pleasant. These guys are pros!!!

Today was my first time at this Dentist office and I must say I was blown away. I had an emergency dental situation arise and within minutes I was scheduled a same day appointment! When I got to my appointment, the facility was gorgeous and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful all the way through. I’ve never been to a dentist who took care of my issue that same day! Thank you for going above and beyond to make sure I was feeling better.

I highly recommend Whispering Oaks Family Dental for your dental needs. They are courteous and efficient. I’ve been a patient for many years and have had a great experience. I was a big baby when it came to seeing a dentist but this place goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Barton is gentle and patient. He truly makes your experience less frightening and comfortable.

UPDATE 12/20/19: Yet another visit to Whispering Oaks for a cleaning and a checkup on my dry mouth situation. Once again, excellent service expeditiously! I never mind going to my dentist as the people are wonderful and love the TC and music in each room keep me entertained, and they never cause pain! This time, they had to use a laser on my gums due to the dry mouth/antihistamines, but explained it to me very clearly. AAA+ Service!! UPDATE: Great service again from Whispering Oaks! They found infection under my gums due to dry mouth issues from antihistamines. Fantastic work that is effective and efficient! Thank you for such great service!! PREVIOUS REVIEW: I’ve been going to Whispering Oaks for several years now. They have filled cavities, put on crowns, and even an implant for a lost tooth that I broke on a popcorn kernel! They are fast, efficient, and incredibly reasonably priced, but with impeccable results. I highly recommend them!! 5 STARS ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️!!

I love coming to Whispering Oaks Family Dental! As soon as you walk in you feel at home. The office is just beautiful. The front staff is very welcoming and all smiles. I have talked with Stephanie on multiple occasions and she is very sweet and helpful. They have an excellent manager, Jennifer, who is very easy to talk to and cares about your experience!

I’ve been a patient at Whispering Oaks for over 5 years and I love it! The office staff are friendly, the hygienists are AWESOME and Dr. Barton is great!! They are thorough with their exams, explain everything so that you understand and do a great job of making you feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

They are just awesome. Right from Stephanie and Roxanne helping/joking with you at the front desk to Jesse and Doctor Barton and their professionalism in back. Jesse does my cleanings every other month. That might be a bit too frequent but I don’t mind because my teeth are always clean. Doctor Barton replaced my two front teeth which I chipped very badly one day. He did an awesome job. I’m now moving out of San Antonio and I know I will really miss two things in San Antonio. One is most certainly my dentist visits and the other is HEB.
