Best dental experience ever! It appears they only hire professional, competent, kind-hearted staff! I was greeted warmly by the receptionist, was made to feel so comfortable by the accommodating dental assistants, and Dr. Lewis is without a doubt the BEST DENTIST I’ve ever had! Dr. Lewis is first of all, highly skilled! Wow, he is amazing! I can tell he is a perfectionist, which is a skill set I’ve been looking for in a dentist for years! I am so fortunate someone recommended Dr. Lewis to me! Secondly, Dr. Lewis couldn’t have been any more considerate of my dental needs as he gave me – without bias – the pro’s and con’s of my dental options and then let ME choose which path I wanted to take. And thirdly Dr. Lewis is a genuinely nice person! What a rare find Dr. Lewis is! If you are looking for a professional, competent dental office that will only provide the most exceptional experience you’ve ever had, I would highly recommend the Wichita Dental Group!

Let me start by saying since my dentist retired I hadn’t seen a trusted dentist in almost 2years. Today I had the pleasure of meeting DR. John Lewis and his staff. I was greeted promptly and made to feel extremely comfortable even after I was taken back to a room. I love the authenticity of the office and how realistic Dr. Lewis explained everything to me that had to do with my appointment. I’ll definitely be coming back to do business with them ; it’s not often you find a genuine staff that listens carefully to respond appropriately in a very timely manner .

I have been going to Wichita Dental Group since I was a child. Forty years later I’m still there because the staff is phenomenal, personable, and always cheerful. You are not just a number to them, you are family. Dr. Lewis is one of the sweetest dentists you will find.

Dr. Lewis is very skilled at his ability to reach his client , no matter how nervous or scared they are. He is able to bring them off the fear ledge and “gently” put them at ease into the chair. He is excellent at performing his task at hand quickly and precisely. The staff is always happy to see you. Lots of smiles! Makes for a GREAT visit. I certainly will again; and encourage others to do the same.

Dr. Lewis is the best dentist I have ever had. The first time I visited his office, I had a terrible cavity high on my back tooth that I was told elsewhere would need a root canal and a crown to correct. Dr. Lewis took one look at it and gave the most professional opinion I can think of which was, “we can’t be sure yet”. He talked me through everything he was going to do, including his plan if he found that it needed a root canal. A few minutes later the cavity was filled and I had saved a huge amount of pain, time, and money. He also managed to notice issues with my teeth that my previous dentists had ignored or told me weren’t a problem. He and his hygienists do a fantastic job in the way they work and in the way they explain things. His hygienist was the first person to explain to me why 6 month cleanings and flossing are so important and I can tell you I plan to never go years without one again. Himself, as well as his hygienists and front desk staff are always very careful to make sure my insurance will cover my procedures without any extra hassle. My only complaints about this office are the limited hours and out of date reminder system (just send an automated text guys, quit calling me). Aside from that, I have never felt better about needing to visit the dentist.

I started seeing Dr. John Lewis just over a year ago because I needed some extensive dental work done. I was nervous to say the least and hadn’t really had a good dental experience for many years since my last dentist had passed away. I set my appointment and went in and was so pleasantly surprised at the amount of caring that you are greeted with from the start. I had to have some teeth pulled and some healing time before I could get a bridge and when I got it there was an issue with it, NOT because of anything that Dr. Lewis or his staff had done, it was the lab that didn’t do their job but no worries Dr. Lewis took care of it and it didn’t cost me anything more. I was so relieved to know that Dr. Lewis stands by his word and his work! I will never use another dentist and have and will continue to recommend Dr. John Lewis and his staff to anyone who needs a great dentist! I have also now referred my family members to Wichita Dental Group as well! They are the absolute BEST in Wichita, Kansas!! Thank you Dr. Lewis and staff for all that you do to make your patients dental experience the best it can be!

Over the course of the last 15 years I have had three crowns installed by another dentist. Two of them came off and the third never sealed properly. So when I broke another tooth, I scheduled an appoint with Dr. Lewis. What a difference! He started working triage on the crowns, building up the substructure when needed prior to fitting a replacement crown – even adjusting the tooth opposite the crown to minimize the bite force. In short, he performed miracles! It’s the little things that you’ll start to notice – cleaning is done with minimal discomfort, a hand on the shoulder for comfort when it’s needed, the pleasant greeting (by Connie, all of the dental techs, and Dr. Lewis) – you feel you are the most important client as you walk in. (And if you checked with them, I’m sure they would say you are!) I, perhaps like many of you reading these reviews, grudgingly would go to the dentist in the past. Wichita Dental Group is a totally different experience than ANY I have previously had. I recommend them without reservation!

I’ve been a fan of WDG for over 7 years- they keep my teeth in great health and looking good! The staff here is awesome.. from Connie, to Deanne and of course the super awesome Dr. Lewis! I hear many people have a fear of going to the dentist but believe me, they are gentle- so if you’re looking for a new dentist you have found the right one!
