I have been going to Dr. Hirsh for 30 years. He is the best, kindest, most skilled dentist I’ve ever known. Sadly, he is no longer at the practice, having retired. However, Dr. Naminik is also quite nice with a pleasant manner. He has worked on me several times and kept me comfortable and without pain. It’s always been the only dental practicevi could trust! I still feel the same way. As far as teeth cleanings go Heather is the Mother Theresa of hygienists! She has the perfect touch. She’s gentle, yet does a perfect job, while being a terrific lady. I’ve sometimes had to go to other offices for cleanings, and they were painful, rushed, and downright unpleasant. With Heather, I looked forward to seeing her and being in the chair! The office is in Woodland Hills. And I would drive from Marina Del Rey to go there. I was more nervous driving on the 405 than being in the dental chair! The only probkrm is I have axstupid HMO Dental Plan that they don’t take. But I’m happier paying them without insurance than going to the lesser dental offices that are in my network. In any case, they my high recommendation – but I do miss Dr Hirsh.

This is an amazing practice. Always take you when scheduled. Hygienists are personable, professional and efficient. I started seeing Dr. Hirsch 4 years ago and was impressed by his thoughtful and caring practice. I switched to Drs. Hirsch and Nominik about two years ago…and I’m so glad I did!! They were recommended by a friend who had been with Dr. Hirsh for many years. The first reason I wanted a new and trustworthy dentist is because my previous dentist’s prices were getting ridiculously expensive….this office’s prices are very fair, and they don’t take advantage of their patients having to have dental work done. They run an honest and very professional practice, and make you feel comfortable and safe…in the dental chair, and also when you pay your bill. All staff members are kind and caring and take every measure to make sure the patient is comfortable. The office staff does that with taking care of billing insurance, etc., and the dental staff does the same when you are in the chair. I love the equipment the doctors use…all computerized, which makes many procedures less painful. (Novocain is administered through a tiny needle drip…doesn’t hurt!) I get very nervous when I have to a Novocain shot for a rear tooth, and they have nitrous-oxide available if you request that….not many dentists have this available and it really helps for just those few minutes when you are getting that shot!
Both Drs. Nominik and Hirsch are gentle, and skilled, and work quickly and efficiently. They both have a calm and caring manner and are a pleasure to have as my dentists.

Just got back from Dr. Hirsch and Dr. Naminiks office a few hours ago and was very pleased by their establishment. The front office staff was just as pleasant in person as they were on the phone. I came in for a consultation last week to get two crowns. I have had bad experiences in the past with my previous dentist so I went to a few dentists before making my choice. I decided to use Dr.Naminik and am very happy with my decision! I will be going back to them in the future for all my dental needs!

I recently switched to this Dental office and the few times that I have been in, I have been highly satisfied. The appointment process is very easy and when I arrive they are right on time with no wait. I have had Dr. Hirsch work on me and they are both very professional and made me feel very comfortable. The entire staff has been great from the time I walk in to when I leave. All my questions were answered regarding procedures done from the Dr. to my accounting and insurance questions with the girls at the front desk. It was nice to have the parking validated but with a new change only one hour is validated now and only cash is accepted. For someone like me who doesn’t carry cash or like paying for parking anywhere, this was inconvenient but it is what it is. I hope they go back to validating for the time of the visit.

Their expertise , bedside manor and KINDNESS is what separates them from the competition. I just got an incredibly thorough cleaning from Heather and had my first real interaction with Dr. Naminik– he is so knowledgeable and patient and provided me with great advice and guidance. Dr. N is an excellent addition to the practice and their support team is fantastic too. Kenny, and now Dr. N set-the-bar in Dentistry and customer service. Honest, Talented and patient-centric. I agree with all of these positive reviews! I’ve been seeing Dr. Hirsch for several years and this is one of the best dental practices I’ve ever found. For me, they are convenieently located near my office in Woodland Hills. This office is well-staffed, modern, knowledgeable, friendly and… willing to work with you. Dr. Hirsch is great and he always makes you feel confidant in his recommendations and guidance. Recently I’ve seen Dr. Naminik who is awesome! He has an excellent “chair-side manner” also and is extremely KIND on top of that. If you want a dentist who listens to you and will help you choose the best treatment–these are the guys to see! They also have the friendliest and most helpful staff in the office and assisting the doctors. Six stars

I first met Dr Hirsch in 1978 at the Halsey Schools where he was doing free exams of children who had been signed up for his exam. I liked him, tried his office for my personal dental care and since then the entire family have been regular patients. We are frequently impressed with his honesty and concern for the welfare of his patients. In fact he has gone out of his way to help in a number of situations with aging parents and young children. Recently, Dr Naminik joined the office and he has proved to be even more caring and concerned about the patient and work he performs. Heather has been my hygienist for all these years and is like one of the family. They must be good because I still have all my own teeth 🙂
A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Dr. Kenneth Hirsch was born in New York in 1943. He graduated from Queens College in 1965, and received his Doctor of Dental Science (DDS) degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1969. After volunteering with the Army until 1971, Dr. Hirsch opened his own practice in Queens, NY, where he served patients of all ages for over 10 years. In 1982, he moved to California, where he continues to practice alongside Dr. Naminik. In addition to serving as a dentist for the non-profit, PTV (Program for Torture Victims), Dr. Hirsch has also served on the Peer Review Committee for the San Fernando Valley Dental Society. He has been featured in a number of articles for his charitable work and values, including one in the LA Times by Steve Lopez in 2009. When not in the office, Dr. Hirsch enjoys a number of hobbies, including fishing, boating, flying, golf, photography, house remodeling, and travel.
